About

A technology company focused on practical implementation

Tomryn Inc. builds AI applications and technology systems, advises on the architecture and processes around them, and develops its own products.

Tomryn Inc. is a federally incorporated Canadian corporation, registered in Ontario. The work has two complementary parts: client engagements (building software and advising on how it should fit an organization) and product development, where the same engineering becomes tools any business can use directly.

The common thread is implementation. Strategy documents and proofs of concept are easy to produce; systems that people use on a Tuesday afternoon are not. Everything below is organized around getting to the second thing.

What Tomryn builds

AI applications

Chat assistants, intake and triage tools, document processing, intelligent search and AI-assisted decision workflows, integrated with the systems a business already runs.

Technical systems

Integrations, data flows, internal tools and the architecture that connects them, including the unglamorous parts: auth, permissions, audit trails and error handling.

Products

SEO4i, an AI-powered SEO and website growth platform, and Tomryn's Local Business Support, a directory and lead generation platform for Durham Region, Ontario.

How Tomryn works

  • Start with the workflow and the constraints, not the tool. The technology choice comes after the problem is understood.
  • Scope small enough to ship. A narrow system in production beats a broad one in review.
  • Be explicit about what is and is not being promised, including where a licensed professional (not a consultant), has to sign off.
  • Build for handover. Documentation, access and operating knowledge belong to the client, not to us.
  • Say no when the honest answer is that the problem does not need custom software.

Technical capabilities

  • Application development: web applications, APIs, internal tools and integrations.
  • AI engineering: retrieval over private content, prompt and evaluation design, agent and tool-use workflows, human review steps.
  • Data: schema design, migrations, reporting pipelines, access control and tenant isolation.
  • Security and operations: authentication, role-based permissions, rate limiting, audit logging, deployment and monitoring.

Consulting approach

Consulting engagements are advisory and technical: architecture reviews, requirements and integration analysis, implementation planning, technology evaluation and delivery support. Tomryn provides technical guidance and does not provide regulated professional sign-off where such sign-off requires a licensed professional.

Where an engagement touches a regulated environment, the deliverables are technical: documentation, analysis and systems. Regulatory determinations stay with the client's own qualified people.

Products and the SEO4i relationship

SEO4i is a product developed by Tomryn. It is not a separate or unrelated company, and it is not a reseller arrangement. Tomryn.ca is the corporate brand; SEO4i is a specialized product with its own site at seo4i.com.

Product work exists because the same questions kept recurring in client engagements. Turning a repeated answer into a tool is cheaper for the client than repeating the engagement.

Industries

Tomryn works with pharmaceutical and life sciences, industrial, energy and local service businesses. The technical patterns overlap more than the sectors suggest: controlled processes, records that have to hold up later, and people who need a straight answer from a system quickly.
